வாசிப்பு

வாசகர் வட்டத்தில் ராஜா என்று ஒரு நண்பர். என்னுடைய புத்தகங்களில் சித்தரிக்கப்படும் இடங்கள் ஒன்று விடாமல் நேரில் சென்று பார்த்து விடும் பழக்கம் உள்ளவர். ஔரங்ஸேப் நாவலில் நான் அப்படி பல ஊர்களைப் பற்றி எழுதியிருக்கிறேன். எல்லாம் சூஃபி ஞானிகள் வாழ்ந்து அடங்கிய ஊர்கள். அந்த ஊர்களுக்கெல்லாம் போய் வந்திருக்கிறார் ராஜா. கூட வருவதற்கு நண்பர்கள் இல்லாமலேயே போய் வந்து விடுவார். இரண்டு மாதங்களுக்கு ஒரு முறையாவது நாகூர் கொசத்தெருவில் நான் வாழ்ந்த வீட்டுக்குப் போய் வருவார். அந்த வீட்டில் இப்போது வசிப்பவர்கள் ராஜாவை அவர்கள் வீட்டு உறவாகவே கருத ஆரம்பித்து விட்டார்கள். அதே மாதிரி பயணம் செய்த ஒரு சிநேகிதியின் கடிதத்தை இன்று படிக்க நேர்ந்தது. அந்தக் கடிதத்தை உங்களோடு பகிர்ந்து கொள்கிறேன்.
